A Note From Our Founder...
When I founded KR Contemporary, my mission was simple: to connect beautiful people with beautiful things. Along the way, I’ve learned as much about the emotional life of collecting as I have about the logistics behind it, the delicate balance of rare and fragile pieces coexisting within our homes, offices, and sacred spaces.
We all know how exhilarating the hunt can be- discovering the perfect work, negotiating the acquisition, welcoming it into your world. But what’s less fun, and often overwhelming, is everything that comes after: documentation, transport, framing, installation, insurance, conservation, storage, appraisals, and the quiet but essential maintenance of a living collection.
